Clean rooms, comfy beds. Noise from pub downstairs delayed our sleep. Breakfast choices are great. Parking permit for just £5 is helpful.

Fantastic location and warm hospitality
The Inn is perfectly located, just a short stroll from the Roman Baths and other major sights, making it ideal for exploring Bath. I was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of my comfortable room and the delicious breakfast that was made to order. The owners were incredibly welcoming and provided great local recommendations, making my stay even more enjoyable. the soundproofing could use some improvement as I occasionally heard my neighbors late at night.

this place is really great for exploring bath. the location is super central, just a quick walk to the bridge. the breakfast is absolutely amazin, lots of choices and the staff are really friendly. our room was clean and comfy, loved the decor. also, having a parking permit for just 5 quid was really helpful for us.
the room was kinda chilly when we arrived and the noise from the pub downstairs was a bit annoying late at night.

The Rising Sun serves up brilliant Welsh pastries that are a must-try! Plus, there’s a top-notch bar where you can unwind after indulging in local culinary gems like Chez Dominique and Friends Are Electric just a hop away.
The soundproofing needs some work. you might hear your neighbor's late-night antics. Still, the vibe and good food make up for it.

Perfect spot for a birthday getaway
We had such a blast! The location was spot-on for exploring the city, and we treated ourselves to brekkie, lunch, and dinner at the cozy bar—food was delish! Just a heads up, the parking was a bit tricky at times. Staff was super friendly and made my wife's bday super special!

Loved the proximity to major attractions! Our room was spacious and had a modern bathroom with a rainfall showerhead.
Felt snug, nothing to complain about.

missingWrote a review on Nov 11central locationcozy atmospherecold roomrushed serviceearly closing
Centrally located, but the experience was rather underwhelming. The room felt cold despite adjusting the heating, and it lacked character, though it was clean and spacious with a decent shower. The breakfast options included some lovely homemade jams, but I felt rushed when offered repeatedly. The pub atmosphere was cozy, yet closing at 10 p.m. on a Friday felt early. Not worth the price paid.

Ideal spot for exploring, just a short walk from various attractions. The bar downstairs serves excellent Welsh pastries that shouldn’t be missed.
Navigating to the room involves a fire escape staircase, which is a hassle if you're lugging heavy gear. The rooms can get hot with no fans available, and the noise from the pub below can disturb your sleep, especially if you’re a light sleeper. I found my room lacking natural light, which made it feel less inviting, and parking options were limited, creating some extra stress during my stay.

Our stay coincided with a visit to the Fashion Museum and Bath Abbey, both of which were easily accessible on foot. The central location made exploring nearby attractions like Pulteney Bridge and the Royal Crescent very convenient. We particularly enjoyed the charming local atmosphere and the rich history of the area.
Tourists from South Africa often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
